You may be familiar with us as First National Bank of LaGrange. We changed our name to FNBC Bank & Trust several years ago, but we have been a mainstay of the LaGrange area since the early 1920s. Our main office still stands at the corner of Burlington and Stone Avenues, across from the historic Stone Avenue train station.
The Bank’s holding company, F.N.B.C. of LaGrange, was established in 1967. During the past 30 years, F.N.B.C. of LaGrange acquired West Chicago State Bank and other local banks. We merged those banks under the name of State Bank of Illinois. Separately, FNBLG and SBI grew from small, local banking institutions to strong financial fixtures serving the people and businesses in their communities.
In 2014, both banks were joined under the name of FNBC Bank & Trust.
Today, FNBC Bank & Trust maintains offices in LaGrange, Western Springs, and West Chicago. We remain independent, locally owned, and locally managed. We continue to provide the expertise you trust, while making the most of our financial and technology resources to find innovative solutions for your banking needs.
