Founded in Chicago in 1958 by Robert Glazers, G&Z Industries has built a long-standing reputation for manufacturing excellence. Driven by steady growth, the company relocated to a custom built 20,000-square-foot facility in Wheeling, Illinois, in 1990 under the leadership of John Grace. Following David Gill’s successful tenure from 2004 to 2026, leadership has transitioned to Ben Kirchhoff. With a shared foundational background at Tier 1 defense contractors, many of G&Z’s current & historical leadership bring expert-level insight into the rigorous demands and precision required by defense primes.

G&Z provides critical value-added services tailored to our prime defense contractors and commercial accounts. Our robust quality management system has earned "Dock-to-Stock" status with key customers, seamlessly integrating our inspection processes into their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By eliminating redundant receiving and in-process inspections, we save our clients significant time and administrative cost on every delivery.

Mechanically, we support direct digital data transfer to our CAD/CAM systems, including extensive experience working with Limited Dimensional Drawings (LDD). G&Z utilizes advanced solid modeling software to generate precise CNC machine codes and CMM inspection programs. Beyond machining, our engineering capabilities include optimizing the design of castings, brazed components, and complex assemblies to maximize structural integrity while reducing manufacturing costs.
