The five main processes that constitute operations are injection molding, thermoforming, CNC routing, digital printing for distortion forming and final assembly.
Northern started in 1992 as an injection molder, and overtime, we followed the needs of our customers and expanded into thermoforming with CNC routing.
Thermoforming gives us the capability to start with a sheet of plastic form a part over a mold, and then trim to print on our 3 and 5 axis CNC routers. Our digital printers enable us to add in house distortion forming providing a precise a three dimensional image capable of providing complete decorated plastic products. Northern also has the capability to perform light assembly of these injection molded, vacuum formed or distortion formed products.
The wide range of industries we serve, including food service, industrial tools, gaming and amusement, transportation, consumer products and finished goods, medical, retail displays, lighting and general industry, allows us to benchmark againste other industries and provide value added learning for our customers.
