Virtual Mold Design--Course Content, Modules 1.0-4.0
Module 1: Plastic Part Design Fundamentals and Product Development Basics. (6) Hours Online Training

Module 2: The Injection Molding Machine, The Injection Molding Process, The Injection Mold. (4) Hours Online Training
Application Project:
Module 3: Fundamentals of Designing and Manufacturing Injection Molds. (10) Hours Online Training

Application Projects: Proven Designs
Instructor Leads All Application Projects. (Acts as “The Customer”) Leads Preliminary Design Reviews and provides “feedback” to the Trainee. Approves Final Designs. (provides “feedback”)

PAYMENT POLICY: Payment must be received in full to attend class.
LATE REGISTRATION POLICY: All registrations made within five business days from the start of class will be assessed a $25 Late Registration Fee. CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations will be assessed a $25 Cancellation Fee. Companies will be charged IN FULL if cancellations are not received in writing by email (education@tmaillinois.org) or faxed (847-825-0041) by noon five business days before the start date of the class or workshop. No refunds will be provided after this time. If you do not cancel and do not attend, you are still responsible for payment.
ATTENDANCE POLICY: At the Technology & Manufacturing Association, we believe that for a student to reach their full educational achievement, attendance is essential. Students who exceed the maximum allowed number of absences per course will only receive a participation certificate at the end of such a course. A certificate of completion will only be given to the students who remain within the allowed number of days absent per course. The maximum allowed number of absences is as follows: 0 absences for courses consisting of 0-21 hours of class, one absence for courses of 22-50 hours of class, and two absences for courses of 51-84 hours of class.
