Yesterday was Earth Day! As a leader in remanufacturing, we at Dynamic strive for sustainability in everything we do. To celebrate Earth Day this year, our Environmental Health and Safety team recruited nearly 40 associates across all departments to volunteer their time to ensure a cleaner future! In just two hours, our folks were able to collect roughly 700 pounds of waste across our Hillside campus. This happens to be a significantly lower weight collected than last year, exemplifying Dynamic's dedication to environmental cleanliness. She became passionate for electrical maintenance starting in high school and utilized her skills to grow quickly at Dynamic Manufacturing.   "... my after-school activity was Tech Crew where we would build the sets for the plays and musicals. We had a workshop with everything we needed to create the magical worlds of whatever play... [At Lincoln Tech] - my favorite part was when we learned about the PLC program, we practiced with a garage door and a conveyor belt program. After that I would watch the Maintenance Department at Amazon [where I worked]. That’s when I realized what kind of electrical career I wanted... one getting acquainted with the machines.”   “My favorite mentor here is Dominic Martino (pictured below with Elizabeth and HR Generalist, Molly Russell.) He’s the pillar of the maintenance team. He has helped, all 3 of us newer employees, to learn more complicated maintenance or the tricky things we struggle with. Dynamic Manufacturing Opens A New Battery Testing and Assembly Facility to Assist the Industry In Meeting Its Sustainability Goals   Dynamic Manufacturing, a long-standing OE remanufacturer, and a leading EV battery testing service provider, supports automakers and others in pursuing sustainability goals by offering comprehensive and reliable battery testing solutions. With the increasing demand for eco-friendly transportation solutions, Dynamic Manufacturing ensures the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electric vehicle (EV) batteries.   Dynamic Manufacturing evaluates the performance of electric vehicle (EV) batteries through in-depth assessments using state-of-the-art testing equipment and a team of experienced professionals. Their advanced testing methodologies allow automotive OEMs to measure the performance of lithium-ion battery modules and packs in benchtop mode, a walk-in sized environmental chamber, and in-vehicle modes to ensure optimal function in diverse conditions.    "Ensuring sustainability is of utmost importance to automakers," said John Bellantuono, CEO of Dynamic Manufacturing. In 2023, the building was heavily renovated and is maintained at 72 +/- 2 deg Fahrenheit. These students learned about manufacturing, engineering, warehousing, and CNC machining in three different buildings with employee tour guides from all levels of the company. Employee health is invaluable. One factor in physical health is sugar intake... in can be tough to stay away from excess sugar! That's why Julie Averill, MBA, MSCP & Isabel Suarez-Melgar from our Health & Benefits Team initiated the Sugar Savvy Challenge! This health incentive program gave tools to employees to participate in recording and lowering their sugar intake to win a raffle prize.
