Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing is excited to announce some serious manufacturing horsepower that has just been added to our shop floor. We have completed the expansion of our Mazak North America #Palletech robotic pallet pool system, which now fully automates THREE Mazak HCN-4000 horizontal mills with two load stations and TWENTY pallet shelves. This system will allow us to handle larger production jobs, cut down on setup times, and run #LightsOut to save our customers money. It was a tremendous amount of work by G.Electric, RAY SAGAN & SONS, INC. and Mazak to relocate three horizontal mills, set them all back up, install the Palletech expansion, and connect everything together. Shout out to John Coudal at Machinery Systems, Inc. for selling us this amazing system, and to the entire Quadrant team for their help in getting it online so quickly. We are already hard at work building fixtures with the help of PTSolutions, Chick Workholding Solutions, Inc., Tombstone City, and Advanced Machine & Engineering Co.. We have a new office mascot at Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing and his name is Cody the german wirehair pointer. Poor dog had "bloat" and almost died at 3 years old, but he survived the surgery and is making a fast recovery. He stayed with us the first couple of days to make sure he was ok post-op. I don't know who enjoyed it more, Cody or our team members! There are already requests for another visit in the future once Cody is back to full strength. Special thanks to all of the QTM employees who helped make the little guy feel safe and comfortable in a difficult time. We feel like Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor holding this beast of an OD boring bar from BIG DAISHOWA-Americas / BIG KAISER-Americas. More Power!!! Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing is always looking to invest in the best possible tooling to machine our customers' parts. In this case, replaceable inserts will be much more cost effective compared with expensive specialty endmills. This custom tool will also control tolerances tighter, which allows us to run these items lights-out, unattended at night. Special shout out to Rob Bayne and PTSolutions for their assist in getting this tool into our machine as quickly as possible 🙏 We're all excited to see it running in our Mazak North America HCN-4000-III 40hp horizontal mill with high-torque spindle, attached to our PMC400 Palletech pallet-pool robot. We should have chips flying by the end of the day!

One of the projects that Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing tackled earlier this year was the remodel of our office space. The ceilings, carpets, walls, and furniture had all seen better days. Check out the before and after photos to see what a difference it made! This investment may not help us make more "chips" but it definitely makes life a lot more enjoyable for our team. Special thanks to Joe Alarcon and Paintegrity, LLC for doing such a wonderful job painting the walls AND the ceiling tiles; it could not have turned out any better. Martin Malawko and C&H Installation Group LLC also nailed it with the new carpet and tile floors. And shout-out to Corporate Identification Solutions for their help in designing and manufacturing an awesome aluminum sign for our Quadrant-blue accent wall 🙌 😍 💙

Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing is excited to announce that our very own Melissa P. received a grant from the Technology & Manufacturing Association (TMA) "Women in Manufacturing" committee, to further her education in procurement and logistics related to manufacturing. Melissa's grandfather started Quadrant back in 1959, so it's wonderful to see the family's legacy live on at our company. Congratulations, Melissa 😊

We at Quadrant Tool & Manufacturing are harnessing the power of the Mazak North America PMC400 "Palletech" robotic pallet loading system. It's all about getting those run times up with more part-density on tombstones. Here we're setting up a six-sided beast of a tombstone for running a titanium job, so it can run all day and all night.
