About us
Since 1972, Safer Foundation’s mission has focused on supporting, through a full spectrum of services, the efforts of people with criminal records to become employed, law-abiding members of the community and as a result, reduce recidivism. Safer provides services throughout the state of Illinois and in Iowa. Not only do we get our clients ready for the workplace, Safer also works with employers to place clients in jobs that will help them become self-sufficient. As an intermediary between employer and employee, we offer a significant incentive to hire from our pool of candidates. When you hire from Safer Foundation, you get exactly what you need in an employee, with the knowledge that we continuously work to ensure both parties are completely satisfied with the working relationship. And we solve your staffing needs with little or no cost, and with a cast pool of candidates, we can provide your business with one or 100 employees quickly and easily.

Our President and CEO Victor Dickson had the incredible honor of meeting with President Biden’s White House Domestic Policy team to discuss Reentry and Reentry Housing. 🏛️ Even more special? The meeting took place in the historic room where Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and President Lyndon B. Johnson finalized the 1964 Civil Rights Act. 🌟 Mementos from that era filled the room, making it an unforgettable experience.
