This achievement marks a significant milestone in the journey to sustainable energy. 📈 Highlights: • Cryopump factory acceptance: The first ITER torus and cryostat cryopump has successfully passed all final factory acceptance tests at Research Instruments (RI), Germany. • Imminent delivery: This accomplishment sets the stage for the delivery of the first cryopump to ITER by the end of the month, with seven more expected by the end of the year. • Large-scale vacuum systems: With volumes of nearly 1,400 m³ and 8,500 m³, respectively, the ITER vacuum vessel and cryostat are among the largest vacuum systems ever built, and require innovative cryopumps.
