Our Rental and Service teams are proud to be partnering with the Iowa Department of Homeland Security, the Iowa Rural Water Association, and Baker Group, among others, to install a temporary water treatment system for the people of Minden, IA, as they recover from devastating storms that struck on April 26th and again on May 6th. Just days after the EF-3 tornado destroyed more than 300 properties in Pottawattamie County, Iowa, including Minden's only water treatment plant, our crew was on site, working to install one of our rental fleet's efficient municipal water filtration systems. Once online, this system will provide a reliable source of clean drinking water for the community until a new permanent water treatment plant can be commissioned. If you would like to help support recovery efforts in Minden and the surrounding area, Pottowattamie County is directing people to the dedicated fund set up by the Community Foundation for Western Iowa

Today, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released new regulatory drinking water standards to protect communities from harmful per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (#PFAS), also known as #ForeverChemicals.
